Academic Activities: Professor of Civil Law, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (1984-). Dean of the Law School, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (1996-2001).

Other Activities: Member of the Chilean Fourth Legislative Commission and of the Drafting Commission for Constitutional Statutory Laws. Adjunct Judge of the Supreme Court (1989-1990; 2012-2014).
