Academic Activity: Professor of Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Environmental Law, Legal English and North American Law, and Comparative International Law at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Universidad Diego Portales, Universidad de Los Andes, Universidad Gabriela Mistral and Universidad del Desarrollo. He is also professor of International Environmental Law and Comparative Law at Tulane University (Louisiana) and at universities in Central America (1986-2014). Speaker and scholar at various universities in the U.S. (between 1989 and 2016).
Other Activities: Former international staff member at OEA and PNUMA, with headquarters in Mexico; Nairobi, Kenya; and Washington DC. Consultant for BID USAID, USEPA (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency) and the World Bank (1989-2005). Government advisor for Perú, Paraguay, Bolivia, Brazil, Panama and El Salvador between 1997 and 2006.
